Tonite, Kevin and I and some friends went to The Cheesecake Factory in Green Hills...  it was busy, as it was around 5pm or so when we got there.  The bar and bar-tops were open, but all full up.  We found two empty seats at the bar and congregated there.  Nearby was a bar-top with two women.  One of our friends asked the ladies if they were about to leave, which they were, but a small statured man and his small statured entourage piped up and told us they were getting the table...  Moments passed and the waitress finally brought the ladies their check.  They paid and stood to go and as they did, informed us they were leaving.  We glanced around and noticed Shorty was no where in site.  We pulled up to the table.  As we did, Grumpy showed up saying that he was claiming the table.  We politely told him that since he wandered off we assumed they had gotten a table and been seated and that the ladies had offered us the table now.  He says to us in his huffy manor, "You're not going to be rude are you?"  We were.  We took the table...

We all agreed, this is a perfect example of the saying "You snooze, you lose."
Live and learn little man...  don't wander off when there's a seat shortage.

On a side note, I had the Spicy Sesame Chicken and it was wonderful.  Even good cold!!
