Out of

Been a while since I've even been on vox...  figured I'd post a little.  Not much going on.  Had a visit from mom a couple of weeks ago.  That was fun.  We went to Cheekwood, took in a movie - Baby Mama, see if if you get the chance! - and ate at the Loveless Cafe.  A good time was had by all.  I got sick.  Ugh.  Bad cough, wheeze, chills...  not fun.  Then I got better.  Yay!!

One pretty fun thing; Kevin and I got tickets to see Sheryl Crow!!  I'm pretty excited about that, as I've been a fan since she first hit the scene in ...what was it?  1994...?  I think she's just great.  Love the new album, too.  Out Of Our Heads is one awesome song!  Motivation is another fave from Detours.  I love those lyrics!  She's always been so smart about lyrics.  That's one thing that makes a great artist for me.  (One of the many reasons I love Alanis!)

Got the new Madonna album, too.  Surprisingly, it's only ok.  It's growing on me, but it's not one of my favorites.  There's only one other album that I don't really like as an album, and that'd Bedtime Story.  There's a few great songs on it, just like on Hard Candy, but overall, not even in my top ten.
